But is it worth the extra money?

What’s the Difference Between Impact Whey & Impact Whey Isolate?
Whey isolate has a protein content greater than 90% compared to 80% found in impact whey concentrate. Impact Whey Isolate also has lower lactose content than whey concentrate.

Taste / Texture
I very rarely use an electric blender when mixing a protein shaker. It just seems like a lot of hassle. Instead I’ll use a regular blender bottle, and shake it by hand. Mixing this with water or milk is fine. Milk gives a more authentic “milkshake” as is the case with any protein shake.
I personally tend to have my protein shakes mixed with water however, especially when im in contest prep and looking for ways to keep my carbs lower.
It tastes good when mixed with water, and tastes awesome when poured over cereal or myprotein granola. Another way to keep carbs lower by eliminating milk, and still eating cereal.

Id avoid the following flavours;

Vanilla doesn’t taste bad, its just boring. The rest are all bad.
Cinnamon Danish tastes really nice when mixed into oats, or when baking with protein, but as a drink its not too great.
The flavours all come down to personal preference. Id recommend trying 1kg bags of new flavours, then when you find the ones you like – stock up on 5kg bags.

Do you need to use isolate? No. But let me tell you a bit about my background.
